[Elecraft] re: KX1 Protection

I normally keep my KX1 in a small Pelican case. I use the 1120 case
as it is reasonably deep and fits the KX1, paddles and headphones
and a few bits of wire with about 1.5 inches of foam on each side of
the rig.

With the Pelican case I never have to worry about damage to the
rig, whether I put into a backpack, or stuff it into the trunk of the 
car.
It does add some weight, and generally speaking Pelican cases are
not cheap, but these cases are waterproof and pretty much 
indestructible.

P.S. I also remember seeing a link a while back for a company that makes
Fanny Packs (Bum Bags for you folks in the UK) that are designed
specifically to carry certain sizes of Pelican cases.
