Same here. I was hiking and camping way before I got back active with radio
in the field. It just enhances the trips already planned. The only time I've
thought about planning a trip around radio is for Field Day and similar QRP
events...That's an awful lot of gear to buy if you are only into camping and
hiking in support of radio ;-)
