I cannot fault your logic ONE BIT! Elecraft's ALWAYS been there for 
me,  faster, AND more economical than Mouser...

But... there ARE times when Mouser does come in handy.

I wasn't advocating buying K2/K1/KX1 parts from Mouser necessarily, but 
more just to support them as a good source of parts.
