[Elecraft] KX1 Audio Output Levels

I missed the first part of this thread so I am not sure exactly what the problem is... But I had low audio levels on 40 Meters after I finished building my KX1, #422.  
 
It turned out that I created a solder bridge across C56... which is the cap that is soldered on the under side of the board, between relay K1B, pins 2-3.
 
See page 34 of the assembly manual, last step.
 
The symptoms were:  Low receive audio on 40M... and couldn't perform allignment on 40M.
 
Also, I do not hear any appreciable difference in audio levels on the different bands on my KX1.  I am always amazed what I CAN  hear.  Very sensitive little receiver.
