Obviously you folks don't have cats!  I use "coin" envelopes and mark =

one, checking the values as I go . . . I'm colorblind (red/green) too, =

check all the values going in and coming back out just to make sure!  By =

way . . . was missing a small diode when building the K2 (after having
inventoried it) and searched all over the room . . . then noticed one of =
the
cats was batting something around in the bathroom . . . yup! The diode =
for
sure. Straightened the leads and it was fine.
