[Elecraft] k2 tac pac

I considered a TacPac 'back when' but decided against it since a) it was
darned expensive for what it was and more importantly b) it wasn't padded.
Instead I chose to use a softsided (ensolite padded, Cordura nylon) top
opening Tamrac camera case for my K2. Don't know the exact model but the K2
slides in & fits absolutely *perfect*, not too tight, not too loose. Sports
a big external pocket for all that extra 'stuff' you need handy too. Nice
2" wide carrying strap, padded top handle and a top that both zippers shut
(i.e. weather resistant) as well as a snap buckle to hold the top flap
closed in case you don't use the zipper. All good features the TacPac didn't
have.
This isn't the one I have but is a good example of what you can find in a
camera case (and it appears to be the right size too):

Note the placement/configuration of the interior foam pads/dividers for the
camera, etc. are customizable via velcro tabs. I used one of those padded
dividers on the bottom of my case for a bit of extra padding 'just in case'.
Might not be International Orange but otherwise it operates the exact same
way (if not better) as the TacPac at less than 1/2 the cost ;)
