I just put mine together last night and all I can say is, "good job".  What an
elegant AND rugged design.  When I first read the instructions I could not
imagine how I might snake those wires right AND solder them without a short or
making a cosmetic mess of the thing, but to my surprise it was really not so
bad (I used my ceramic adjustor to push the radically bent wire up away from
the corner).

BTW, used some left over shrink tubing from the kx1 parts to protect the plug
during the operation and it worked like a champ.
