I have some plastic "swizzle sticks" (drink stirrers) which are nothing
more than 1/8" plexiglass rods...Work fine...Also, I have heard of folks
using the plastic coffee stirrers from McDonalds with the paddle clipped
off and the shaft sharpened...Go figure...
