[Elecraft] any 60-meter QSOs with new K60XV option?

Wayne,
I've made a half-dozen contacts on 60m since completing the K60XV a
couple of weeks ago. I have used both the channel hopping, and the
channel scanning features (I prefer the 'audible' scan as opposed to the
muted scan - and it's nice to have the choice!) Everything works great,
and the frequency accuracy has been dead-on. I had previously checked
all frequencies by transmitting into a dummy load and listening on the
746PRO, and each frequency/channel was right on frequency. For a couple
of contacts I adjusted the RIT, but never touched the XIT because I
already knew the transmit frequency was correct.
I've also been using the audible scanning to monitor 30m, and it works
great. Since I'm primarily a cw op, 60m is unlikely to become a
'favorite band', but it's great to have a K2 capable of covering all
amateur bands from 160m through 10m, and I'll still operate on 60m
occasionally.
Actually, I was primarily interested in the K60XV module because of the
transverter support, but wanted to make sure that everything else was
working as it should. No surprise there - it all works beautifully!
I'm particularly looking forward to working with a good friend this
summer, when we'll use my K2 as an I.F. to his existing VHF/UHF
transverters for EME work on 2m - hence the interest in the K60XV's
transverter capabilities. Will report the results of that adventure later...
Thanks for another Ele-gantly executed K2 option!
