It is just my opinion but it is strongly held, that the only stupid
question is the one you failed to ask before you made a real blunder
and you knew you needed to ask it but were too worried about what
others might think or say.  I have done a lot of neat things in
my ham career and 95% of the credit goes to others who shared stuff
freely with me after I asked a bucket full of dumb questions.  The
remaining 5% goes to my foresight to ask questions.
