Examine the soldering carefully with a magnifying glass. You may have a
solder bridge somewhere which is connecting two circuits that should not be
connected together.
Especially examine all the circuits that are connected to the 8 volt lines
(look at the schematic to identify the points).
Remove any excess solder from the boards with solder wick.

Hell to all
My call is EA7HG and my name is Uge.
First sorry for my bad english.
I buy a K2 and have a problem that not found.
The control board is mount.
The Panel Control is mount.
Check this like say on manual and work ok
Make the RF Board and check and all is ok except IF Amplifier Alignament.
No work...Check the current and is about 360 mA.
The 8V Regulator of Control Board are a little hot.
Return to Control board for check the 8V and have <7.5 V.
Turn off and remove the control board to examine this problem.not found
nothing and mount again the control board to see the RF Board.
Turn on to check the RFC16 and my K2 no turn on.Check the power and all is
ok.Read the troubleshooting table and all is ok.
Go to point 075 Possible MCU problem is all is ok Except the last point
about 4mhz oscillator.No listen signal.I changed the Cristal (4Mhz) and no
work.Change for other Cristal (4Mhz) and no work
