Thanks to those who suggest that I may have a missing/bad solder joint =
on the LCD.  I found I had missed one of the pins and of course that was =
causing the problem. The control board checks out fine and is within =
specs, according to the manual.

I am at the "Alignment and Test, Part II' and having a problem I hope =
someone can help with.

The PLL reference oscillator is not stable.  I am getting 12065.-- and =
the last three digits are changing rapidly. I don't see anything =
obvious.  Any suggestions?
