Indications are that you should raise your input voltage a bit. SLA
batteries generally want 13.8 volts 'float' voltage at their terminals (but
the exact 'proper' voltage varies with temperature and is only valid for a
fully charged battery).
In addition, there may some slight variability in the drop across the diode
from K2 to K2. You can double check your K2's indication with an external
DVM connected directly to the battery terminals - set that reading for 13.8
volts and then note what is shown on the K2 display, that will be the K2
voltage reading that you should strive for.
