[Elecraft] Elecraft K2 S/n 01432 "J1" Position Question..

Can "we" help clear this for me..before soldering..!??

Now..I am "near" completion of the "Front Panel" board (..I think.!)...
Resting at the part in the manual where it
mentions to solder "J1" the "20 multi-pin Connetor"...to this board.. Page
24 of my edition of the manual...

I'm a "little confused" with the way that the manual is pointing out the
instructions, ...with reference to "looking at
Fig 3.3 before continuing"...

My ??  DOES..! "J1" Connector...."indeed" go on the UNDERSIDE of the board
with it's relevant pins being
soldered on the TOP (silk screened side) of the board...?

Or Does "J1" Connect ...."indeed" go on the TOP (silk screened side) of the
board with it's relevant pins being
soldered on the UNDERSIDE (normal area with pads) of the board...?

Pardon my "ignorance" again guy's....think I've been "relativley calm" in
the process of putting my kit together so
far, with no "that" many ??'s for you guy's.... Just thought it better to
ask before going ahead...  The manual (to me
on this area anyway) is a "little vague" in its explanation....Or perhaps
its just that I'm a "newbie" to this type of "skill"
