[Elecraft] reflector

I am the admin for another list, and the level of spam that is not
auto-deleted has picked way up, as in ten times as much. This puts a
load on the admins who have to go through them looking for valid posts
by those who haven't yet quite figured how to do it right.

Qth.net has also had some hardware failures of late, and they are
still tweaking the replacement system.

If that wasn't enough, there are episodes of some large ISP's
rejecting ALL posts from others, apparently trying to cut down on
spam. This can effectively shut down a reflector several different
ways.

All of these are issues being worked on. It's kind of like a war.
Sometimes the enemy has the upper hand, other times we do.

The trick at the root of everything is being able to largely (read by
programs, not people) defeat the latest generation of spam, that
unfortunately seems to have the upper hand at the moment.
