I might point out that many of us simply do not need trace images.  While 
there are  quite a few Elecraft owners that may like to cut into the traces on 
their equipment, I would bet that way over the majority of us owners do not.

I could go so far as to say it was not really necessary.  Nice, maybe, but not 
necessary to the satisfactory delivery of the product or its eventual 
operation to specification.

Oversight?  Maybe.  Necessary?  Maybe.  Withheld?  I doubt it.

I don't post much on this list but why not forget the past and just have fun, 
live in the present and dream of the future.
