That's actually not a bad idea.
But why should that be necessary? There's no excuse for PCB trace diagrams to be missing from Elecraft manuals. Absolutely **none** whatsoever!
Kit rigs *especially* need such diagrams in the documentation to aid subsequent troubleshooting or modification. I cut two traces unnecessarily for a very simple mod I was making to my K1 three years ago because I could not tell by PCB observation which trace was the correct one. With PCB trace diagrams, that wouldn't have happened.
If the only reason for this defect in Elecraft manuals is the cost of a couple of additional sheets of paper in the manual, I'd gladly pay that premium.
