Well, what you are looking for is "InP" in the main menu. Choose "HAnd". =
I
have that trouble even at 20 wpm using a bug. At that speed the keyer =
throws
in extra characters if I leave "HAnd" set up for using paddles (PdLn or
PdLr).=20

Sure, turn off Auto-Detect for straight-key. That only works at lower
speeds.

Look for ADET in the menus.
