[Elecraft] Old K2 Mojo Still working

Hello gang:

Just a note to let you know that the ole K2 Mojo is still operational.  =
I took my K2,  SN:18, tent camping in the Chewlaca State Park near =
Auburn, AL this weekend and put up a make shift antenna.  It was a 40 =
meter half wave inverted vee with the apex at about 20 feet and the ends =
at about 6 feet off the ground. It was fed with about 15 feet of 300 ohm =
ladder line and I connected  a 4:1 balun to it and a 30 foot piece of =
RG-58 from  the balun ot the K2.  The KAT2 tuned it to a 1 to 1 swr on =
10 MHz and at 1312 GMT I worked 3B9C, Rodiguez Island in the Indian =
Ocean, on 10.106 MHz running 10 watts.  He was listening up so I had to =
use the TX RIT to move up 4.8 KHz and finally nailed him on about the =
7th call.

A great weekend of camping, hiking, hamming and three great college =
baseball games between Auburn University and LSU.
