[Elecraft] KAT2 can it be outboard/freestanding?

Max,
The KAT2 must have the signals to the microprocessor in the K2 to operate,
and would not be usable with other rigs.  It would be difficult to extend
the interface to put it into it's own enclosure.  The KAT100 however is
mounted on an external enclosure, but alas, it also needs to communicate
with the K2 (using the KIO2 option).
