[Elecraft] A K2er in the CQP next weekend

QRP ops,
I will be active in the California QSO Party next weekend (4/5 Oct). I
will be part of a large group doing a QRO Multi-Single in Alpine county
atop a mountain pass (8,400ft) in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Watch for
N6A. We will be set up in tents and braced for the cold WX. 

When I'm not on the QRO rig, I expect to have my K2 on some unused
antenna running QRP (5w) on a battery and with my K6iii call. Last year
there were 30 QRP entries in CQP. Top Dog in the QRP pile (outside of CA)
was N9NE.

So say HI when you find N6A and then go looking around for K6iii on some
other band, probably just above the usual QRP frequencies (7040, 14060,
21060). I usually do the CW mode but will have a mic and can QSY to SSB
if you ask.

The N6A group will be setting up Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next
week, so you may find me using k6iii/QRP on the air from Alpine county
before the weekend.
