Hi

Radio Shack sells a part that will fit the K2 but it is too small to use =
a wire cable to handle the K2. The part is also not as well made as the =
Elecraft supplied connector. The correct connector is made by =
Switchcraft and Mouser has them 502-S-760 is the part number, they cost =
about $3.00 and will take up to a 18 ga set of wires. I would not want =
to power a K2 with smaller than 20 ga wire. Radio Shack sells some red =
and black 18 ga speaker wire that works well with the Switchcraft =
connector.

I want to make up another power connector for my K2. Does anyone know =
the correct Radio Shack p/n for this connector? I looked at our local =
RS store and there are so many different sizes of these things, I could =
not figure which one was the right one. Thought someone out there in E =
land has already researched this item. Thanks for the help in advance.
