I was thinking two antenna at right angles to each other would be nice.
Then you could "rotate" the antenna. Of course, a phased array is also
nice, but I'd need more real-estate.
Seems to me that you could put the L and C on just one element though,
for instance, 33 pF in parallel with a 50 ohm load at 7 MHz, with
0.08 uH in series, would still be 50 ohms, but with a 1/2 degree phase
shift. A cascade of LC pairs should allow a nice range of delays.
As long as the square root of L/C is about 50 ohms, the line will stay
matched, sort of. Each LC pair just acts like a bit of transmission =
line.
