Hi, Fellow Builders,

I just noticed in the latest QST that C&S Sales, Inc.

www.cs-sales.com

is advertising Digital readout variable temperature Weller PES51 Soldering
Stations for $109!!!  I believe I paid $150 for mine.  It is a really good
iron.  Be sure you get the right tips. too.

I recommend the following:

Weller tip ETS, 0.010 Long Conical
Weller tip ETR, 0.06 Long Screwdriver

You may also want some larger tips for the welding jobs on the Power Amp,
and some of the cable assemblies!  Those suckers almost take a mig welder
for enough heat!  A second hotter, larger iron may also be a good
investment.  They are cheap.

I've used the WES51 for quite a while, and it does a remarkable job with
solid, accurate temperature control.

Go get 'em.  Great price!
