[Elecraft] Your KPA100 Syptoms

I have observed exactly the same situation as Joe but in my case it seemed to be restricted to 17M.  I was always seeing Hi Curr or Hi Refl and the KPA100 fan would kick in if the tuner was the least little bit off perfect.  Hitting the tune button would usually clear things up until the next QSY.  Last time it happened, I hadn't even transmitted yet and the fan was on high.  Checked CAL TPa and found 255 with a cold heat sink.  Recalibrated and the problem went away.  So far it has not come back but I haven't been on 17M much lately. My KPA100 is also installed in an EC2 with the KAT100.
