Counterpoint...

I've never felt that my K2's volume was quite 'right'... esp. after having 
put it (the K2) next to Gary's K2 at Ft Tuthill a couple years ago.

The bad thing is that just about everything CHECKS out right down the 
line... nothing's far enough 'off' to be considered a problem... 'cept the 
output.

I'm presently driving a Motorola External Amplified Speaker and have more 
than ample output now.

I'd still like to see Gary, or someone, put a known uV RF signal into the 
K2 at some frequency, say 7.1MHz, and then set the AF Gain at a given point 
(say, 9 o'clock) and then provide an AC volts output measurement across the 
speaker terminals. Of course, filter settings, etc. would have to be stated 
as well.
