Folks,
With Ken Brown's information, I found that the mic plug is AIM 19-1289 (8
pin female mic plug).
Yes, AES has it listed, but with the manufacturer's number it is easier to
locate other sources. The parts availability at Radio Shack has been drying
up even more recently.
In fact the last time I visited the local RS store, I was looking for a
panel mounted coaxial power jack and neither the clerk nor the store manager
had any idea about what I was asking for - I finally found one on the rack -
clearly marked as a coaxial power jack!
It is good to know that AES has these connectors. At least you can call and
talk with someone who just might know what you are asking for.
