[Elecraft] Mic plug wiring?

I Recently bought a microphone connector  from radio shack . . . the
conversation went something like this:

"I need an 8 pin microphone connector"
"We don't have those"
"Yes, you do."
He looked in the drawers and found them.
"Well, how about that. You want two? Then I won't have any."
"No, one's enough."
"How about a cell phone?"

Radio Shack, You've got questions, we've got blank stares.
