[Elecraft] K2 and filter question?

S/N 3345 with ssb board installed.

I've been using my K2 since last winter and after a shaky start 
troubleshooting my mistakes all seems to be working great for many months 
now! Truly an amazing rig!!

Question: There's a pronounced difference in audio level output between cw 
mode and ssb mode and I see a large drop in audio output going from ssb to 
cw. I used the Spectrograph software to align all filters and all went well, 
so.....is this normal to see such a large drop in audio output when 
switching from ssb to cw?

I realize the signal takes a diffeent route when in ssb mode than it does in 
cw and I really don't think I have a problem, but just making sure the 
receiver is working FB!
