I'm one of those with a 1KMP modified to reduce key clicks.  I was 
getting occasional complaints of
key clicks with the Yaesu, but never with the K2.  But I suspect that is 
because of the power difference.
I often drive an AL-1500 to legal limit with the Yaesu, but always run 
the K2 at 5W. 

Further, the K2's keyer weighting is still greater than 1:1 dot to space 
ratio, even when the shortest
dot setting (0.90) is selected from the secondary menu.  This is 
annoying to me since I use the
computer to send canned messages, but the internal keyer to send 
manually - quite a mismatch.
