[Elecraft] ECN report for Sept 8, 2003

Howdy Justin,
   When I check the frequency and it is busy I just move up.  So next week if you hear folks on 14050 kHz and 
they don't call:

CQ CQ CQ ELECRAFT NET DE KD5ONS
CQ CQ CQ ELECRAFT NET DE KD5ONS
CQ CQ CQ ECN DE KD5ONS

THIS IS A DIRECTED NET.    (OR QND)
ALL ARE WELCOME.

You are not on the correct frequency.  I am not sure why they didn't check the other frequencies to see where 
I started the net.  One week NA7Y and KL7V were in a QSO on 14050 kHz when I tried to get started so I 
moved to 14051 kHz to run the net.  They both finally wound up on frequency but had been in a hot and heavy 
QSO at net time.  

So check the preamble to the net to get the bona fide ECN.   Not genuine without this trademark.
