Some years ago I bought a neat little gadget to add to my old Heath HW-8 =
QRP
rig. It included a keyer and a nice little frequency counter that read =
the
local oscillator frequency and then calculated the operating frequency =
based
on the mixing scheme the rig used. The frequency was reported via CW =
using
the keyer sidetone whenever a button was pressed.=20

Looking at the front cover of the instruction booklet for the gadget, =
called
the "KC1 Keyer and Frequency Counter", I can't help but notice that the
design was copyrighted 1995-1996 by Wayne Burdick, N6KR.
