Check your local Radio Shack for the 22-510 switching supply.  If you 
can still find one, they are
closing them out at half price, $69.  I bought the last two at my local 
RS and am very pleased with
the purchase.  They are rated at 13.8V 25A, weigh about four pounds and 
have very quiet fans.
I do not hear any RF noise from mine, but my antennas are a distance 
from the shack and fed
with coaxial cable.
