I've been thinking about this all night. 

At first I thought it may be a small HF transceiver for back packing.
Then an AM/FM broadcast band receiver, and finally a dual band or more
FM portable.

Ok, so I don't do my best thinking when I am supposed to be sleeping.
Rule #1 of kit building: Don't build when you are tired. I can see now
that the same applies to guessing at new products from Elecraft.

But, I still wonder about an FM portable. Say with 10 meters to 900
nanometers coverage and a fuel cell for power.
