OK Watson, listen carefully:

If the weight and current draw are important, it must be something that 
can be used in the field.  The 'trail mix' remark supports that.

We know that it isn't a single-band QRP transceiver.  How about a 
multiband transceiver?

The receive drain is about 60% of that of a K1.  OK, I believe that. 
The weight is about 40%!  I conclude that the case is made of some 
material other than aluminum, and it's probably less complex than the K1.

I would guess that the price can be a bit lower, too.  But it isn't a 
low-end product, just the coolest field radio imaginable!

Heh, heh, if I guessed right do I win one?
