That's not how it's supposed to work, Rick.
Once locked, the frequency should not change when you unlock it, no matter
how much you turn the knob.
Just tried it on my K2 running ver 2.03d and it stays put when I remove the
lock.

When I hold LOCK on my K2, frequency locks even if the tuning knob is
moved, say by accidental nudging. This is as expected. But when I hold
it again to restore tuning, the rig jumps to a different frequency,
presumably wherever it would have gone while the knob was turning if
LOCK had not been engaged. This seems wrong to me as it negates half the
utility of the LOCK function. There is no way anyone could want to jump
to an unpredictable frequency based on blind tuning or accidental
nudging. But many people will often want to stay where they started out.
Both the MP and the 930 work that way. I think this is a K2 firmware bug
(or perhaps a bug in my build). Does anyone agree with me?
