Well, having just stumbled through this area, I discovered signals 
came up if I flipped the coax switch on the antenna tuner so the 
antenna was actually connected to the rig! <g>

Also, putting in C6 helped -- I skipped that step for some reason. 
(Do sigs come up if you put your finger on the pads around C6?)

I believe Gary wrote a long piece on remedies for "low volume" K2s --
