[Elecraft] Bar Graph related static.

Advice and/or help please

I have just completed K2 #3773 without any of the options installed yet.

The signal to the bar graph is creating noise (static) every time the lit
bars change. No difference if the graph is dot, bar, or off.

Static is worst with preamp on and and decreases preamp off and further
decreases with attenuation on. So I assume the noise is coming in through
the antenna.

Anyone seen this before?
Any suggestions as to where to start?

I will be on the road for the next two days and will reply to any questions
then.
