I used the ARRL code guides  - and taught from them in the 50's and =
60's.
They introduced a few characters at a time and kept using them, but with
greatly reduced frequency as new characters were added so one didn't get
them too heavily "drilled" into one's head!=20

Koch is a nice idea, but you tend to remember the beginning characters
better because by the time you get to the end they are pounded into your
head.

This effect should disappear over time with more exposure to the rest, =
but I
don't really like it because of this.  Which is why I am workinf on
something better.
