[Elecraft] KXB30 Orientation

Hi,

For those who have installed the KXB30 option-

Could you field testers clarify how the KXB30 board is placed onto the =
KX1 PC board? It appears it is placed against the top side of the PC =
board, with the components of the 30m band board and the PC board =
touching, "topside to topside".=20

Do I understand correctly that there are no standoffs or other devices =
to align the two components? The builder centers the KBX30 trip pots =
with the access holes in the PC board, using the bare hookup wires =
soldered so as to maintain the proper orientation?

Do the two rubber pads go on the bottom of the KXB30, ending up as an =
insulator between the KXB30 board and the inside of the KX1's top cover?

Sorry for the early questions, I have built a K1-4 (FUN!), and have the =
KX1 on order. Reading the manual in anticipation of another satifying =
Elecraft Elexperience.
