[Elecraft] KAT2 Trouble Re-defined

Well, in the continuing saga of my KAT2 (see previous post).
Disconnected R6 as in the manual and can get 8 or 9 (<10) on the LCD when
doing CALn but no lower than that.
BUT I still have zero volts at "B" during TUNE.
According to the manual I think this means trouble in the SWR bridge area.
Been over it and over it and just can't find anything wrong.
All the right components in all the right spots, with re-heated joints; no
bridges.
T1 looks just fine (remember it was prewound).
Could the problem be someplace else and if so where?  Suggestions?
