[Elecraft] KAT2 Troubles

Howdy folks, need some assistance with the K2 antenna tuner.
First off...I screwed up...I soldered in R6 some where early in the
process...well before Bridge Null Adjustment C55.
I can not get anything other than HI when doing the CALn adjustment
procedure.
I have 0 volts on rcve at point B (correct) and stays zero (wrong) in TUNE
mode (should be 3 - 4 v).
Relays click etc during that part of the testing procedure.  Watt meter
reads output from the K2.
I find it hard to think that presoldering R6 is my only mistake.  But I hope
so.
Problem: I hate to desolder a part.  Is there a way to align with R6 already
soldered in place.
Even w/ R6 in place, where else might my problem be.  I can't find any
missed joints or bridges.
Used prewound toroids.
Suggestions/comments?
