[Elecraft] Missing Pre-installed C32 on the XV144 RF Circuit Board

Ah... You caught a mistake, Roger. C32 is ONLY used in the XV50. In the
parts list, it needs to be moved to the section for the XV50 only.

When you build the XV144 transverter, you will find in the assembly
procedure a note that C32 is NOT installed.=20

Sorry for the confusion...Its doubly embarrassing because Wayne and I =
talked
about that on the telephone before he issued the errata and he asked me =
if
we needed to do anything besides correct the number. I said no. I was =
wrong.

Subject: [Elecraft] Missing Pre-installed C32 on the XV144 RF Circuit =
Board

While I'm waiting for a response from the folks as Aptos on this one I
figured I'd ask the list if I'm alone with this problem. I'm building =
an
XV144 transverter. There is no C32 surface mount capacitor installed on =
my
board. I have the latest errata sheet and realize that on some boards =
C32
is labeled C58. I have such a board. The location on the left side of =
the
board right next to the big notch is labeled C58. The latest errata =
sheet
and the manual page 4 of appendix A say this is really the location for =
C32.
It's described on page 14 of the manual as being a preinstalled .047uF
capacitor. It's not there. I don't want to start installing anything =
on
the board until I find out if I need to send the board back or something
else. There is a small label on the board that says XV144.

Roger, W1EM
