My comments about the Orion and the K2 were not intended to be a slam
against anybody, anywhere.  I have always thought that TenTec and Elecraft
produced great rigs.  At my operating position I have K2 #1107 with all
modules except the autotuner, I have a wonderful Cosair and a KENWOOD
TS-830S.  Each has its good points and the odd few things which I think
could be different.  I get great audio reports from the K2 on ssb and in
many three way tests it is always the rig with the edge.  I also have an
S-Line and a Heath HW-5400 and if I had the time and the money there are a
number of imported rigs I'd like to try.  Hey guys, every comment is not an
insult.
I was trying to show that the people at TenTec recognize what a great radio
the K2 is. Eric and Wayne have worked wonders.
