[Elecraft] Help Possible encoder problem Encoder

Hi folks
K2 been working wonders (W7 on 20M ssb with 1 watt). Suddenly this afternoon
the VFO locked up. It is transmitting and receiving on all bands on the
frequencies stated on the display. the menu functions relying on the encoder
actions are not working either. I suspect the encoder but have no idea how
to check it. Any suggestions please?
