I bought one mainly for use while travelling. It runs the K2 just fine
and is very quiet. I measure 13.4 volts on the K2's internal voltmeter
and the KBT2 requirement is 13.6 - 14.0 volts. After running my K2
with the supply for several weeks, I removed it and checked the battery
voltage, which measured 11.9 volts, so it doesn't appear to put out
quite enough for charging the internal battery. It's a sealed
assembly, so there is no easy way to increase the output.
