I haven't seen your letter, yet, but thanks in advance.

We had a great response to the KX1 at Pacificon. Two blind hams dropped by to
try it out, and they smiled through the entire demo, so it looks like the unit's
audio-CW mode was well-received. The KX1's small size appears to also be
beneficial for them (3 x 5 inches, from the top): you don't have to reach very
far to touch any of the controls.

I can think of a few scenarios where this mode will be useful even for sighted
hams: (1) bicycle mobile (you should be looking at the road, not the rig); (2)
very bright sunlight; (3) too sleepy to keep your eyes open during Field Day  ;)
