[Elecraft] ticking K2/100 AGC solved

First of all, thanks to all who replied. I stumbled on the =
solution....happily before I dismantled my poor K2/100. I'm hooked into =
my computer via the RS232 port for logging (DX4Win) and when I click on =
"new QSO" there is a blinking cursor where the new call sign is supposed =
to go. Well the blinking cursor makes the ticking sound that triggers =
the AGC. Sometimes I wait till the end of a QSO to turn on my logging =
program and sometimes I don't...which is why the problem was =
intermittent. Hope this is a help to somebody else.
