Dave,

If you are definetly going to buy an Elecraft K2 then go for the 
matching Elecraft tuners.
I started with the LDG low power unit and liked it very well but when I 
added the Elecraft KAT100 to my K2/100 there was no contest for ease of 
use. It will match any reasonable antenna design and retains its 
settings in memory.
I also added the Elecraft KAT2 tuner to my other K2 and find it works 
equally well in the low power K2.
Bear in mind however that the Elecraft tuners work only with the 
Elecraft rigs, due to their microprocessor handshaking.
