Look out Elecraft, here comes Ron, AC7AC!

 For those who don't suscribe, you may want to pick up a copy of the November 2003 issue
of QST.  After following and enjoying Ron's postings to the reflector over the past years,
it was a pleasure to come across his excellent well-written article on building a simple, 
yet elegant, superhet receiver.  This is certainly a do-able project for members of this list.
  
Only drawback I see is the use of coils wound on PVC forms instead of the torroids we're used
to, but maybe that can be overcome.  I'm looking forward to the companion transmitter.
